Takai Salon, Atlanta

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Icon Development, constructed and built out a Hair Salon, in Historic Kirkwood, located in Atlanta, Georgia.   We converted a shoe shine / variety store which catered to lower income residences, into a stylish salon.  Project included gutting of 1400 sqft space, installing 2 ADA bathrooms, and new storefronts.

SUMMARY

• Developed construction documents for original space.
• Handled permitting with the COA
• Handled variance applications in front of the COA and the Neighborhood Associations for offsite parking.
• Bringing 800 amp electrical service for the building to the rear.
• Installation of new storefront.
• Installation of an exposed duct HVAC systems.
