Cibo e Beve

PROJECT SUMMARY

Yet again, Icon Development has victoriously out shined the masses with the build and construction of Cibo e Beve, an Italian Restaurant in the heart of Atlanta.  Icon Development displayed complete proficiency and professionalism, having converted a dark shabby Irish Pub into a unique European Italian Bistro.  Seasoned experience supported by a passion for restaurant construction and design ensured a nine week timeline with budget being met seamlessly.  Due to such diligence, the certificate of operation and health expectation was received on the first run.  Collaboration amidst different professionals was accomplished with ease and dedication to assisting clients beyond scope of work remains an inherent Icon Development standard.  Safety, function and materials were assessed in process comprehensively, while maintaining the true sense of the AI3′s design.  Icon Development also supported the local business economy by purchasing materials from local trades.

When the restaurant’s doors opened, an aesthetically constructed Cibo e Beve welcomed guest of all kinds. On the restaurant’s façade, slim contemporary RLMs light red Cibo e Beve letters which rest on vertical wooden planks. In close proximity of the entry, a cozy outdoor area is arranged, a beautiful feature for spring and autumn nights. Once inside, hardwood oak floors lead to the bar. A cast zinc countertop from Bastille Metal Works, based in Savannah, GA lends to a rustic feel. To the left of the bar is finely crafted wood and metal shelving storing wood logs, a clever display for bar stock items as well.  Hundred year old oak flooring from a local factory was used in restrooms, on the ceiling and shelving. A wood burning pizza oven draws attention with its attractive mosaic tile application. The synchronization and durability of the materials speak integrity to guests and beyond; Cibo e Beve, yet another astonishing project to add to the distinguished Icon Development portfolio.
